Business Management

Business Management is designed to equip gig professionals with the practical business management skills needed to transform their technical abilities into sustainable income, professional credibility, and scalable economic opportunities within the gig and micro-enterprise ecosystem.

While many gig talents possess strong technical skills, long-term success requires more than technical competence. This course focuses on the applied business capabilities needed to attract clients, deliver services professionally, manage work effectively, and grow beyond individual freelance engagements.

General Gig Work

This course is designed to help you convert your technical skills into real earning power. Beyond what you can do, it focuses on how you position, deliver, and sustain value in the gig economy.

You’ll build the professional behaviours and operating practices required to attract clients, deliver quality work consistently, and get paid. This includes client communication, project execution, personal productivity, digital safety, and wellbeing management.

The emphasis is on credibility, consistency, and long-term growth. You’ll learn how to work like a professional, managing expectations, meeting deadlines, and building trust across every client interaction.

By the end of the course, you’ll have the mindset, habits, and systems needed to generate income, secure repeat work, and build a strong reputation across gig platforms.

GATEWAY Orientation Course - Foundation Pathway

The GATEWAY Orientation Course is designed to help you get fully onboarded, understand your learning journey, and prepare for success in the program.

Graphic Design

This course develops the creative and technical foundations required to produce professional visual designs. You’ll learn how to translate ideas into compelling brand assets using core design principles, typography, layout, and visual systems.

You’ll work on practical design tasks such as brand identities, social media assets, and marketing materials, building a portfolio that reflects real client expectations. Emphasis is placed on quality, iteration, and presentation.

By the end of the course, you’ll be equipped to deliver design work that communicates clearly, consistently, and professionally.
